“Are you takin’ a picture?

On a blue sky morning, the last thing you want to do is paperwork at a desk. So I paused to re-view a “foodographic” video sent to me by a friend last winter for a story I was working on for the newspaper.

The profound words of the Rachel Eppley song were put to a slide show of mobile uploads from my friend Lorraine Lewandrowski through the various seasonsĀ of dairy farming on Honey Hill in Herkimer County, New York.

Whether you are a ‘farmer’ or an ‘eater’ on this beautiful Sunday, please enjoy and feel free to share this view of everyday life as captured on farms in New York’s Mohawk Valley.
